We are starting Genius Hour in our classroom this week. Our first task is to create a topic list. Each student has a Genius Hour folder. In their folder they will create a list of possible passion topics to share with me. Hopefully, by the end of the week, each child will have a solid list of topics to chose from. I then will gather some resources for their research.
I am so excited to get started! This is a big week for us in Third Grade: Global Read Aloud, Blogging, and Genius Hour. Exciting things to come!
