Life in a Day

A global 21st Century project has been completed and is now in theaters.  A look at life across the globe during a single day has been turned into a 94 minutes 57 seconds long film that includes scenes from 4,500 hours of footage in 80,000 submissions from 140 nations!  This is a great example of collaboration, communication, critical thinking and creativity (the 4 Cs) at their best.
Life in a Day is a documentary shot by filmmakers all over the world that serves as a time capsule to show future generations what it was like to be alive on the 24th of July, 2010.  This film was created out of a partnership between YouTube, Ridley Scott Associates and LG electronics.  YouTube users sent in videos they create to answer specific questions posed by the Director Kevin Macdonald.  All footage was collected on July 24, 2010.  The Completed film was released on July 24, 2011.
